Hey
I just bought a Marushin M2 Carbine maybe 3 months back, It was already having problems not shooting in Auto but that was least of my concerns since I only planned on using SEMI. But recently, its been real odd, I took it out once to the field and worked alright but now when I fired it, it only least out one shot then the bolt stays back and its jammed, where it used to be a smooth motion is now problems.
I know these things are notorious for getting jacked up but i was wondering would know whats going on?
Kind Regards.

| The one at AEX has been broken almost the entire time I've seen it there, the parts are notorious for going bad from my experience. Bring it by sometime and I can take a look. |

Give it to Andrew Whitney and have him make an offering to the Classic airsoft gods. _________________ People who play airsoft are like magazines, either Standards, or Hi-caps. Some do a lot with little, some do very little with a lot. |

Have you tried taking the bolt out and replacing the lubricant? My gas guns always got gummed up after a while.
Four score and seven years ago, or something approaching that time period, I owned a Marushin. I decided never to do that again. In the words of Peach Wilkins, "You, my friend, are fu-fffucked." _________________ "During development, the rifle was picked up by the US Army which was struggling because potheads, the primary demographic for recruitment in the 60s, couldn't handle the pornstar recoil of the M14. The M16A1 model helped resolve that problem by introducing a rifle that wouldn't fire at all." |

I think if I paid full price for this carbine I think the situation I would be in be different , ill be pissed LOL so i'm not so much fucked.
I wanted to break it down but the damn manual is in japanese so my confident in putting it back would be down.
Its random, in times it works fine but only lately its been doing this and now the damn mags dont like to fill, i swear to the gods im going to fix this weapon. |

Ok, I think this is whats causing all these problems. For some reason the bolt likes to come off the "rail" this only happens time to time and every time i place it back it works fine then bam, jam. I'm thinking its some type of fail safe.
Whats making me scratch my head is that, idk if its missing something and that's the reason why its coming undo or what.
Sorry for the big pic.
Let me ask a quick question, Im still a cheery when it comes to airsoft, does gas matter? Would it affect the weapon to this point? |

Think i just fixed it, looks like there was an extra seal that in the manual wasn't there so I took it out and cleaned most of the gun inside. Seem to be working fine also some of the screws were loose. Now, hopefully ill keep on working.
At least im learning how the internals of a gas gun looks like... |

I hear Andrew keeps all of his gas guns dry lubed with graphite spray and judging by the fact his guns have lasted a while it must work. _________________ People who play airsoft are like magazines, either Standards, or Hi-caps. Some do a lot with little, some do very little with a lot. |

Well, it worked fine for the first half of the game last Saturday but later in the day it started to do that one shot jam, cock it, shot then jam. I'm going to open it up again see if its something simple. But, its looking like i might end up just selling this or trading it.
Prob. something simple and with money can be fixed but I got to get money first.
